Depot Management

Seefar Shipping Private Ltd as one of the most contemporary Depot Operators in Nhava Sheva, Mundra & Chennai, having its own and leased depots, and is one of the pioneers of marine freight container depots in India, offering services to international container leasing companies and shipping lines on an All-India basis. We firmly deals with Container services such as Depot Management, Maintenance & Repairs, IICL Certified Surveys, and Allied Services, a servicing enterprise handling varied activities in the sphere of Container Shipping and Logistics industry. We possess more than 20 years of experience and expertise in this field. We are ably assisted by a team of well qualified and trained staffs, IICL5 Qualified surveyors, skilled technical workers, headed by highly qualified management team to head various sections and divisions. All our depots are equipped with fork lift, side lifters and reach stackers with 20ft/40ft side spreaders, to ensure safe and quick movement within the yard, so that minimum time is taken for lift off, lift on and internal movement, without any damage to containers during handling. Yard surface is properly developed for hard standing and paved, especially wherever the land is owned. Well designed drains are provided, both surface and underground, to avoid stagnation of rain water. Containers are stored in a planned manner. Lay out of aisles is suitably made so that delivery is given on first-in-first-out basis, as far as possible. We have 15 acres of land for storing empty containers at Nhava Sheva, Mundra & Chennai, which can store up to 4,500 teus, with RCC boundary walls, and well equipped amenities and on-road transportation facilities, depots are located less than 10 k/ms from the Port Area.
